Public discussion of the carried out projects

The Ecological non-governmental organizations of Azerbaijan frequently organize the public hearing of own projects and project carried out by industrial objects. Among them are:
1) Oil pipelines and environment. Village Ranjbar of Hadjigabul region, on September 24, 1999
2) 2-nd Sangachal sea terminal. On March 02, 2000. Baku
3) Discussion of Archus Convention. May 2000. Baku
4) Development of oil deposits Kursangi and Garabagli. On June 20, 2000
In 2000 Forum of Public Ecological Organizations in Azerbaijan has limited financing the Oil company Frontera Resources on the part from European bank of reconstruction because of realization of industrial work in the zone of Shirvan reserve.
It shows, that the public-ecological organizations have turned to real force in the Society for organization of the public movement for protection and improvement of the environment.
