Law of Azerbaijan Republic "About hydrometeorology activity",

The law consists of 7 chapters and 30 articles. The basic sections of the law are:

1. General provisions. The basic concepts
2. Management in the field of hydrometeorological activity
3. State regulation of hydrometeorological activity
4. Guards of the information on hydrometeorological and monitoring of natural environment
5. Economic regulation of hydrometeorological activity
6. International cooperation in the field of hydrometeorological activity
7. Responsibility for infringement of the legislation about hydrometeorological activity and resolution of disputes

The law defines legal bases for researches and realization of work, actively influencing on atmospheric processes to preparation, use and guards of the information on hydrometeorological and monitoring of natural environment. Simultaneously adjusts questions of water, Earth, guards of a nature, and also other attitudes, arising in connection with hydrometeorological activity. Objects of the legal attitudes in the field of hydrometeorological activity under the law are: air space of Azerbaijan, ground, vegetation, internal waters and aquatoria of Caspian sea.
The rsponsibility of the state in the field of hydrometeorological activity
consist the basic in organization of realization of supervision and researches of pollution of natural environment at extreme situations, arising in result of natural accidents, technogen of incidents and antropogenic of influence, preparation and transfer of the information to the appropriate bodies. The state is responsible to organize of researches physical and chemical structure of a degree of pollution of ground (6)
The state regulation in field of hydrometeorological consists in basic, in prevention in life to state policy in field of hydrometeorological and monitoring of natural environment (8). Agrees 9-th articles by one of the basic principles is in realization of hydrometeorological activity and in protection of interests of the state by use of the information.
In 12 article is marked, that technical documents on hydrometeorological activity are defined as realization of supervision and researches on meteorology, air meteorology, agrimeteorology, hydrology, oceonology, climatology, monitoring of natural environment, and also normative technical requirements, with norms and rule in the tax, analysis and using of the information. The fulfillment of the requirements of the normative-engineering specifications on hydrometeorological activity is necessary for all manufacturers and consumers of the information on hydrometeorological and monitoring of natural environment.
Moreover in the law the following questions are reflected: - form and kinds of hydrometeorological activity, rules of realization of hydrometeorological activity, realization of supervision on hydrometeorological and pollution of an environment, state control for hydrometeorological activity, responsibility for infringement of the legislation and other.
