Law of Azerbaijan Republic "About the animal world",
on June 4, 1999

The law consists from 9 of the chapters and 56 articles. It defines legal bases of guards and use of the animal world of the country. Animals world, being by one of the basic components of natural environment and biological diversity, national riches of the country, source of moral and aesthetic needs of the population is used and is protected as object of scientific researches, raw and the food product.
The purpose of the law maintenance of guards, rational use on territory of the country of all kinds of the wild animals, their living places , duplication and etc.
Duties of the law are creation of legal base for organization of guards and use, management and state regulation of the animal world.
In the first chapter (1-6) objects and subjects of the animal of the world, right of the property over objects of the animal of the world, the participants legal relations, connected with guards and use of the animal world are certain used in this law concept,.
The second chapter (7-11) is devoted to management in the field of protection and useage of the animal world.
In thirds to the chapter of the law (12-26) legal order of use of the animal world.
The forms and kinds of use of the animal world, legal bases of catching and destruction of the wild animals, being and non-objects of fishery and shooting are determined, and also regulation of quantity of the animals is determined.
The legal bases of protection of animal world are considered in 4-th chapters (27-40) of the law. In this chapter questions of guards of environment , conditions of growth of quantity and ways of migration of the wild animals, ecological examination of objects are widely stated which requirements to protect the animal world can harmfully influence on the condition of the animal world, guards of rare and disappearing kinds of the animals, and their duplication and useage.
There are certain restrictions on the rights of the owners of the animal of the world at migration, rational use, guards and population.
The fifth chapters of the law (41-42) is devoted to questions of the state account of objects of the animal world, code and them monitoring.
In the sixth chapter of the law (43-46) is spoken about legal bases of the control over guards and use of the animal world. The rights carrying out state control of bodies of authority over guards and use of the animal are here listed.
In 7-th chapters of the law (47-51) economic regulation of guards and use of the animal world .Have been determined of indemnification for use of the animal world and penalties for illegal shooting of the animals, legal party of indemnification for damage, put to the animal world is determined, and also is noted about stimulation of guards, productive use and increase of quantity of the animals. In articles 52-54 are established the responsibility for infringement of the law about the animal world and resolution of disputes. Here (53) is shown, that the persons, breaking the law on the animal world bear administrative, disciplinary, criminal and financially - legal responsibility.
